Sustainability isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

We believe sustainability is the minimum standard we must achieve. Our ambition is to create lasting value for people, places and nature. These are our values.

Our Approach to Sustainability

We believe great experiences should create lasting value for people, places and nature.

The landscapes and coastlines that make our experiences possible are not simply settings for adventure. They are living environments, home to wildlife, communities and cultural heritage. Our responsibility is to help people enjoy these places while contributing to their long-term health and resilience.

These same principles shape our consultancy work. Whether we are developing visitor experiences, supporting outdoor recreation projects or helping organisations activate places and landscapes, we encourage clients to think beyond visitor numbers and consider the wider value their work can create for communities, environments and future generations.

While we are proud of the steps we have taken, we view sustainability as an ongoing journey rather than a destination. We are continually learning, adapting and looking for ways to improve.

01 Nature Comes First

We operate in some of England's most sensitive marine and coastal environments, including internationally important seabird colonies, grey seal haul-outs and diverse underwater habitats.

Every experience is shaped around the conditions on the day and the presence of wildlife. We keep group sizes small, choose locations carefully and take a calm, considered approach in the water. Our role is to observe, learn and appreciate rather than interact or interfere.

By giving wildlife the space it needs, we aim to create meaningful encounters that foster respect, understanding and stewardship.

02 Low Impact by Design

We have built our experiences to minimise environmental impact from the outset.

Our activities are single-use plastic free and our business is powered by renewable electricity. We encourage car sharing amongst our team and seek opportunities to reduce unnecessary travel wherever practical. Waste is minimised, or recycled.

Rather than pursuing high visitor volumes, we focus on small groups and carefully managed experiences. This allows us to maintain quality, reduce pressure on sensitive environments and create more meaningful experiences for our guests.

03 Supporting People and Place

We believe tourism can be a force for good when it strengthens connections between people and place.

Our experiences are designed to help visitors better understand the landscapes, wildlife and communities they encounter. Wherever possible, we work with local suppliers, partners and operators, ensuring that the benefits of tourism are shared more widely.

By encouraging curiosity, connection and care, we hope to inspire visitors to become advocates for the places they explore.

04 Accountable Standards

We are proud to hold WiSe accreditation, recognising our commitment to responsible wildlife watching and a wildlife-first approach to experience delivery.

We have also achieved Bronze Green Tourism accreditation and are actively working towards a higher standard.

These frameworks help guide our decision-making, but we recognise that sustainability cannot be reduced to a badge or certification. It requires continual reflection, improvement and accountability.

The lessons we learn through delivering our own experiences directly inform our consultancy work, helping us support destinations, businesses and organisations seeking to create experiences that benefit people, places and nature.

Sustainability is not a claim we make. It is a responsibility we carry.
